James Harrison was born in Jacksonville, Florida, but raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. James came to Nashville on a vocal scholarship to Middle Tennessee State University. After completing his degree, he performed around Nashville as a singer-songwriter. James met Kelsey and Emma through Skyville partner Wally Wilson, and he began adding his guitar and vocal skills to their sound. What emerged was something that was instantly exciting around the Skyville house.
